Privacy policy
Effective October 15, 2026. Daiz is operated by Dor Farjun, an individual developer in Tel Aviv, Israel. Contact: hello@daiz.dev.
The short version
- Daiz stores what you and your agent put into it, so it can show it back to you.
- No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking across apps or websites. Your data is never sold or rented.
- Your records are visible only to you and the people you invite.
- You can export or delete everything from Settings at any time.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, the name you choose, your time zone and a password, stored only as a salted hash.
- Your content: the trackers, logs and lists you or your agent set up (including their earlier versions), the records you add, images you upload, and the history of changes (who added or edited each entry, and when).
- Your settings: colors, layout and notification choices for each tracker, including muted reminders and quiet hours.
- Notifications: a push token for each device where you allow notifications, and a list of the notifications sent to you.
- Agent access: your connection code, stored as a hash plus an encrypted copy, and sign-in tokens for your devices and agents.
Some things stay only on your iPhone: entries waiting to be saved while you are offline, the order in which you last opened your trackers, and the data shown in Home Screen widgets.
We do not collect your location, contacts, health data or advertising identifiers.
How it is used
Only to run Daiz for you: sign you in, store and show your records, run the calculations your trackers use, send the reminders you set, share with the people you invite, and fix problems. Nothing is used for advertising or profiling.
Your AI agent
When you connect an AI coding agent with your connection code, that agent can read and write your trackers and records in order to set them up and change them. What the agent's provider does with that data is governed by its own privacy policy. Daiz does not choose or control it. You can cut off every agent at once with Reset connection code.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the service and stores account data, records and images. Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver requests and keeps short-lived request logs.
- Expo and Apple deliver push notifications. They receive your device's push token and the text of each notification.
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.
Images you upload are served from a long, unguessable link so the app can show them. Anyone who has that exact link can open the image.
Sharing with other people
A tracker's records are visible to other people only if you invite them to it. Each entry shows who added it.
Keeping and deleting
- Your data is kept while your account exists.
- Deleted entries stay in the trash for 30 days, then they are deleted permanently.
- Settings > Delete account and all data deletes your account, records, images, trackers, devices and tokens right away. Backups kept by the hosting provider expire within 30 days.
- Settings > Export all data gives you a JSON copy at any time.
Children
Daiz is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data from inside the app, or by emailing support@daiz.dev. If you are in the EU, UK or another place with data protection rights, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
